Nacional bag point, Benfica edge ahead

Sunday 11 March 2012.– Nacional came from behind four times to secure an impressive 4-4 draw at Olhanense in a thrilling La Liga encounter.
Olhanense led for only 29 minutes in four instalments, with Eduardo Dady's tenth-minute opener cancelled out two minutes later by Mario Rondon. Salvador Agra netted on 23 minutes and Dady twice restored the hosts' lead, but Mateus levelled on each occasion.
Wilson Eduardo's 70th-minute penalty gave Olhanense hope they had finally killed the game off, but Claudemir struck in the 79th minute to ensure the points were shared.
On a high-scoring day around the league, Sporting hammered Guimaraes 5-0 to move fourth on goal difference. Ricky van Wolfswinkel's 21st-minute goal gave the Lisbon giants a 1-0 half-time lead, but they ran riot after the interval, Matias Fernandez doubling their lead and Marat Izmailov adding a penalty before Jeffren's late brace gave the scoreline an emphatic look.
Benfica edged ahead of Braga into second place, a point behind leaders Porto, after coming from behind to win 2-1 at Pacos Ferreira, who finished with nine men after losing their discipline late on.
Michel gave the hosts a first-half lead but substitute, Nicolas Gaitan equalised in the 63rd minute and Bruno Cesar grabbed what turned out to be the winner five minutes later. That proved too much for Pacos Ferreira to take and Michel was sent off in the 76th minute before Ricardo was shown a straight red card with two minutes remaining.
Chengdong Zhang's goal in the 62nd minute was enough to give Beira Mar a crucial 1-0 win over Gil Vicente, edging them ahead of Vitoria Setubal, who were beaten 3-0 at Rio Ave. Atsu Christian and Vitor Gomes set Rio Ave on their way in the first half and Pinto Yazalde wrapped up victory nine minutes from time.
